Our Story

Our story started from an Uber trip in West Philly while studying for a Master of Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. During the trip, we noticed that some of the most useful positive interventions and well-being resources that came out of Penn’s Positive Psychology Center were not accessible to the surrounding community in West Philadelphia. Our Uber driver was inspired and motivated by those positive nudges. Our team realized how resource-intensive it is for a practitioner to consistently and equitably share their work. This Uber trip motivated Uvita’s team to focus on scaling access to well-being. So we developed a creator platform for practitioners and organizational leaders, so positive nudges and creativity can be released around the world.
